I was born in downtown Madrid on May, 1985. I'm half Chinese, half Spanish, although I owe my second name to the Greek poet Alekos Panagoulis. I graduated in Computer Science and worked as an analyst for some time. I don't do it anymore but I still enjoy programming from time to time and appreciate the free software philosophy. I began to take another degree this year just for fun. I read as much as I can and I write every once in a while. I love music and playing with synthesizers, I composed some songs in the past, but they're all awful. As a teenager I worked in radio and played in some local clubs. I'm a bit synaesthetic. When I was a boy I loved playing soccer, but I broke my calcaneus (both of them) and spent five months on a wheel chair. I was never able to run as fast as I used to, but I'm alive and I'm thankful I can walk normally. I had a rather long adolescence devoted to writing graffiti; I wrote my name in the street as many times as I could in all the cities I could reach by all the means I could use. I had many troubles with police, got caught a few times but escaped dozens of them. I had plenty of energy and spent the rest of it learning how to take photographs and using my camera to tell what I was feeling. I still take photographs, it's my main activity and the means I use to talk about themes I find close and personal. I love it. Four years ago I made the first drafts of a project in which I've been working hard for more than a year now. Thanks to VAVA Gallery I was able to show a public preview recently, but it will take months —at least— until I can say it's finished and I finally show it. I work on this project many nights. I also participate in street art interventions. I'm interested in everything related to the public space. I travelled abroad as much as I could —I went on interrail on my own, back in 2007, around Eastern Europe, painted some subways. Caracas impressed me a lot. I love China, but only as a visitor. I've also travelled inwards. I went to hell on my first LSD session, the rest of them were rather the opposite. It's hard to explain it using concepts. All of them were important and useful to know myself better; additionally they were a rite of passage to my adulthood. I wouldn't be the same person had it not been for Hoffman and Shulgin. I still take entheogens to explore my consciousness. The most important thing that has ever happened to me is meeting and studying with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche. I practice Buddhist meditation in the Tibetan tradition. I love animals. I don't eat meat or fish and I try to avoid the rest of food of animal origin. I work as a volunteer for El Refugio (an animals shelter) and thanks to them I share my apartment with a wonderful kitten: she loves playing, sleeping and fluffing the duvet.

Nací en el centro de Madrid en Mayo del 85, soy mitad chino y mitad español, aunque mi segundo nombre se debe al poeta griego Alekos Panagoulis. Me gradué en informática y trabajé algún tiempo como analista; ya no ejerzo pero me sigue gustando programar de vez en cuando y la filosofía del software libre. Este año he empezado a estudiar otra carrera, por gusto. Leo cuando puedo y de vez en cuando escribo. Me encanta la música y también trastear con sintetizadores, alguna vez he grabado canciones. Son muy malas. De quinceañero trabajé en la radio y pinché en algún garito de Madrid. Soy ligeramente sinestésico. De pequeño me encantaba jugar al fútbol, pero me rompí los dos calcáneos y estuve cinco meses en silla de ruedas. Nunca pude correr tan bien como lo hacía antes, pero sigo de una pieza y doy gracias de poder caminar normalmente. Tuve una adolescencia más larga de la cuenta en la que me dediqué a pintar graffiti; escribí mi nombre en la calle tantas veces como pude en todas las ciudades a las que pude llegar y de todas las formas y medios posibles. Tuve muchos marrones, me pillaron alguna vez, pero escapé decenas de ellas. Todavía me sobraba energía y la dediqué a aprender a hacer fotos y utilizar la cámara para contar por lo que estaba pasando. Sigo haciendo fotos, es mi actividad principal y es un medio que utilizo para hablar de temas que me resultan personales y cercanos. Me encanta. Hace cuatro años hice los primeros borradores de un proyecto en el que llevo algo más de un año trabajando intensamente. Gracias a VAVA Gallery pude mostrar en público hace poco un pequeño adelanto, pero todavía quedan -por lo menos- meses hasta darlo por concluido y mostrarlo, muchas noches trabajo en él. También realizo intervenciones de arte urbano, me interesa lo relacionado con el espacio público. He viajado fuera del país siempre que he podido, en 2007 me fuí de interrail yo solo por Europa del este y me pinté algún metro. Caracas me impresionó mucho. China me encanta, pero solo para ir de visita. También he viajado hacia dentro. Mi primera sesión con LSD fué una bajada al infierno, el resto de viajes fueron más bien lo contrario. Son difíciles de explicar con conceptos. Todos fueron imporantes y me sirvieron para conocerme mejor; además, fueron un rito de paso hacia mi adultez. Sin Hoffman y Shulgin no sería el mismo. Sigo utilizando enteógenos para explorar mi consciencia. Lo más importante que me ha ocurrido hasta ahora es conocer y estudiar con Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche y Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche. Practico la meditación según la tradición del budismo tibetano. Me gustan los animales. No como carne ni pescado y procuro evitar el resto de alimentos derivados de ellos. Trabajo de voluntario nodriza para El Refugio y gracias a ello comparto casa con una gatita preciosa: le encanta jugar, dormir y mullir el edredón.
